These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by:
In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Windscreen Wizards Ltd, and “you” refers to the customer.
2. Services
We provide mobile windscreen replacement, windscreen chip repair, and related vehicle glass services. Services are typically provided at your home, workplace, or another agreed location within our coverage area.
3. Quotes & pricing
- Quotes are based on the information you provide (e.g. registration, vehicle details, damage description and photos).
- Final pricing may change if the damage/vehicle specification differs from what was described or visible in photos.
- Unless stated otherwise, prices include applicable UK taxes.
- Quotes may be time-limited due to availability and supplier pricing.
4. Bookings & appointments
- Appointments are subject to availability and confirmation.
- You must ensure the vehicle is accessible, safe to work on, and located at the agreed address at the agreed time.
- If we cannot safely complete the work due to access, unsafe conditions, or inaccurate information, we may need to reschedule.
- We may reschedule due to circumstances outside our control (e.g. severe weather, supplier delays, or unexpected job overruns).
5. Cancellations & no-shows
- Please provide reasonable notice if you need to cancel or rearrange.
- Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in a refusal of future bookings.
- Where we have already ordered a specific windscreen or materials for your booking, you may be responsible for non-refundable supplier costs.
6. Insurance work
Where you choose to use your motor insurance:
- You are responsible for confirming cover, authorisation requirements, and the amount of any excess with your insurer or broker.
- We may ask for insurer details and claim/reference information to help progress the booking.
- Insurers may require you to use certain processes or approve parts/labour. We cannot guarantee insurer approval or timescales.
- Any policy excess is payable by you unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.
7. Repairs vs replacement
- Not all damage can be safely repaired. We will advise whether a repair or replacement is appropriate.
- Even after a chip repair, existing structural damage may still spread due to temperature changes or road vibration.
- We are not responsible for cracks spreading where the windscreen was already compromised prior to repair.
8. ADAS / cameras / sensors
Some vehicles have Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) such as cameras and sensors attached to or aligned with the windscreen. If your vehicle requires calibration after replacement, we will advise you during quoting or inspection. Where calibration is required, additional time and/or cost may apply.
9. Warranties & liability
- We aim to provide high-quality workmanship and materials.
- Any warranty offered will be described at the time of service and applies only to the work performed by us under normal use.
- We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or issues caused by third parties after completion.
- We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g. loss of earnings, missed appointments).
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under law.
10. Payments
Payment terms (including timing and accepted payment methods) will be agreed when you book. If you use insurance, your insurer may pay us directly or may require you to pay and reclaim—this depends on your policy.
11. Website use
You agree not to misuse our website, submit false enquiries, or attempt to interfere with site functionality.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
